I had to drive past Sizergh Castle this morning so stopped for a wander around the gardens on my way home. I also had a cappuccino and piece of berry flapjack in the cafe.

Because I haven’t posted many flower/insect blips this year I’ve chosen a hoverfly shot. Other photos of the gardens are in extras.

The area of water is referred to as a lake in the guide. I’d better not count it as a tarn!
