The landscape is still looking green from a distance but a closer look shows signs of autumn. 

It was a damp start to the day. I came across another cycle event, though some of the riders (identifiable by the numbers on their backs) were pedalling around looking lost. 

The weather was better in the afternoon but I had plans for that . . . cleaning the car. Then kitchen duties.
