The ceiling

This is the ceiling in The Emporium in Cromarty. We went back over today at just gone 11 and it was open. We bought a few items we wanted including two tea light holders with paintings of Cromarty , a book about Cromarty during Covid and two Christmas tree bell decorations that were half price.
The back room used to serve teas, coffees and biscuits but that stopped during the pandemic. In this part you can purchase a number of books old and new. You can also sign the walls and ceiling , the earliest date I could see was 1996. We have signed it before but can not remember where, it was not on the ceiling though.It will be a shame if it disappears . The shop has been bought but not sure what it will become.
A windy day with some great waves. Felt colder too although it was reading 15 degrees on the thermometer.
