Surprise encounter

Thanks for your kind words yesterday  - unfortunately the prognosis has worsened so it's only a matter of time now for my friend.  So it's a very subdued house here today, my mum met Sarah's mum when they were both pregnant with us all those years ago, so our families have been friends ever since so time to remember the good times we shared.....

And as the weather was so lovely I headed out locally for a healing walk by myself along the creek expecting just to see birds and maybe some butterflies - not this little one who popped out along the path to say hello!! Never seen a stoat along this part of the walk before so nature always has a way of surprising us, and bringing a smile to our faces on a sad day.
