Day 2 Mayia Exclusive Resort, Kiotari, Rhodes

The flight was late arriving after taking off an hour and a half late.  Once we'd collected our cases, we made our way outside and were directed to a taxi to take us to our accommodation.  The journey was really scary. He drove too fast, was too close to the cars in front and keep going on his phone- messages and calls. I usually tip but I didn't on this occasion.  We arrived at the hotel at about 2 Greek time and after checking in, we had a little ride around the hotel grounds on a buggy and then were taken to our rooms.  These were stunning and we could tell that our rooms overlooked the pools.  We unpacked enough to be able to go to bed and collapsed after an exhausting day. In the morning, my first stop was the balcony where I was really impressed with the stunning view of the sea, hills and pools.
After Chris and Kieran had woken, we made our way to a beautiful breakfast.  The rest of the day was spent mostly by the pool and exploring the hotel a little.  We were all exhausted after a long journey.
