Hyena ...

... on Cardiff's Animal Wall, at midday opposite our hotel. It's one of 15 sculptures on the wall, executed in the late 1880s/early 1890s.  The link provides a good history of the wall, which which is perhaps the most intriguing feature of the city for the visitor. 

Our hotel room overlooks the wall, and currently displays a superb sunset, as you see in the extra.

We took a Roundabout Bus tour of the city, stopping at the National Museum of Wales for lunch and a excellent visit afterwards. (As so often, I can't find a good link for the museum, so have a search for yourselves.)
