Vote.
I took this shot on the way to vote.
When I stopped outside the polling station this afternoon the two administrators were sitting in the village hall garden soaking up the sunshine. I was shocked to learn I was only the tenth person to place my X
I believe vehemently in using my right to vote, but having received no literature on any of the candidates I was at a bit of a loss as to whom I should select in today's local election.
After some deliberation I used a new methodology - that of choosing the candidate living closest to me, rather than supporting a party candidate.
My theory being they would be more in touch with local, rural issues.
It will be interesting to see who is duly appointed when all ten or so votes have been counted.
With such low numbers voting I wonder if it should be made compulsory for everyone to make their mark.
