Grey Heron

The older female flew over from the trees to the edge of the water. The gull followed me in and the crow landed beside me on the fence. I started feeding them but could not see the young one. After a few minutes though, she flew over and landed on the viewing platform. I went onto the platform and started feeding her as well. I then went to the mid point and the male was waiting. The younger male came over too but was chased away by the older one. I did manage to get a couple of bits of sardine to it though.
I was pleased to see that more Sardines are expected to be on offer next week.
The extras are the older female and the young one with the gull.
