River Wye

We had  another beautiful walk today. It was a circular walk northwards from Tintern  along the river  to Bigsweir Bridge and then steeply up into Cuckoo Woods to meet the  Wye Valley  Way, by which  we returned to Tintern. We passed Llandogo village with  Cleddon Falls, but unfortunately there was but a trickle of water over the rocks. This  is a view of the  Wye as we approached Bigsweir. The walk was about 11 miles long with 1850 feet of ascent.
