Forest / Red Legged Shield Bug

An almost abstract shot. Having done my three mile 'up and over' circular walk around the village I came home for lunch. Something tickled behind my ear, and I flicked out this fellow onto the cover of the latest Westonbirt Arboretum magazine. The colours matched so nicely, and he sat there quiescent for a few seconds, troubled perhaps by the damp teacup ring I'd left on the autumn maples image. Weather or not this is a fitting image for #AT378 I really couldn't say... ;-)
