Fly Me To The Moon...

Ok, so the title is the only part of this Wide Angle Wednesday shot that has anything to do with Sun or Moon, those being the sub themes. Still, you get points for trying, yeah? At least I didn't stick a Moon in the upper right (ok, I did but it didn't look great!).

We nipped out to Cirencester today for a delightful wander through the ancient market town, with its huge earthworks Roman amphitheatre and gorgeous Cotswold stone C18th buildings. On the way we stopped for lunch at Cotswold Airport, where this whale of a plane now stands over the cafe carpark. They really do look awesomely big when you're right underneath!

I was thinking, the other day, this is the only place I ever write in now - my blogging days seem over. And then the Wotton Times asked for a piece, and it's published this week for those of you nearby. Go scoff at the prosaic nonsense, but remember... they've asked if I can go monthly!

It's all part of passing the day. ;-)
