Quiet night

Lottie went off happily on her school trip - have been wondering how she is all day but I know she will be having a great time. She is so much more confident than I was at her age.

Busy old day at work, year end in full flow, not helped by reports getting stuck in the system for hours! Tonight should have been an opportunity to chill a bit and have a bit of me time.

It didn't end up that way - got in and started tidying up (again!), had a quick tea and then nipped to Asda for a couple of bits. Stopped off at Sandal Castle on the way back - had a walk round and took a few shots of the sun setting. Should have hung round a bit later really but had stuff to do. Finally sat down about 9.30!!
