Missing my baby

Charlotte is on a sleep over at her grandma's tonight - as it is election day tomorrow and school is shut. She was so excited this morning!

It's strange coming in from work (a late one and a visit to the gym first) to a quiet tidy house, miss her smile and hug.

This is a present she got me for a mother's day a couple of years ago - no replacement but a lovely reminder!

Fast forward 24 hours and I will be complaining again that there are toys everywhere!
