Laird Young We Salute You Sir !

Well thanks guys it's nice to see thay the good people of Leeds still recognise my status as some of you may remember that I own a piece of land on an Highland Estate in Caithness Sutherland and I am known as The Laird Of Glencairn ok ok I hear you how much land do I own well err it's a foot square haha that's no bad though at least I can stand like a Stork on it with one leg heehee anyhow today has been a lovely day it was scorching when I arrived in Leeds with a couple of hours so it was straight out to the canals for some shots I had my regulation Latte leaving Edinburgh and my egg sandwich so I wasn't that hungry so as I was going along the towpath I saw these two characters on the either side it was nice of them to salute me and the other was doffing his Helmet at me I don't know what the big tube that was going into his Helmet was a strange contraption indeed maybe they were a couple of blippers as there was a camera on a tripod nearby so I got my shot of them and shouted over my thanks for the courtesy of being my capture for today but it was warm I saw a guy on a deckchair with a cool beer and thought that was just teasing me then a couple of canal side bars were heaving with people and there drinks more tormenting and I was starting to get all hot and bothered but I could sense and see some subliminal signals in my mind about Ice Cream so I headed straight back into the centre of town to find some Ice Cream which I did and I had a twin flake Mr Whippy with the two separate cones of ice cream it was lovely I have rarely given in to temptation most of my life apart from Ice cream but my grey cells must be diminishing as my resisting temptation is getting weaker by the day I can't put my finger on it but my resisting days are numbered as those pleasures in life are worth giving into you only live once anyway enough of my chit chat and pick a movie for today is "A Few Good Men 1992" and on the way back from Leeds it was in the back cab until Newcastle as I was not scheduled to take over until then so the headphones were in listening to some music from Rainbow,Aerosmith,The Who amongst others but I really need to get some Queen on my phone as that is my all time fave band and I still think to this day they can't be beaten anyhow I'm off tomorrow taking my mum to the shops in the morning then meeting up with my best mate Stevie who we started together in the Railway together along with our other mate Graeme who sadly no longer drives trains as you may recall in an earlier blip he had suffered a massive stroke that he had actually passed away in the ambulance before being brought back although he was on life support for some days but he now can walk and talk not that good though but still has his sense of humour and it will be nice to go out for an Italian lunch at our favorite restaurant which is the Jolly on Elm row as Stevie's mother is friends with the owner and we get well looked after so we shall enjoy that with a couple of beers early as I start just before 7am Saturday so hope you all had a good day with the weather as usual on my day off it is to be CRAP.
