Santiago

We have arrived! We are in Santiago! It was an emotional arrival. My walking companions had been before but the effect was the same. 
Today was a long hot day (26km/18miles in temperatures to 34ºC) and I won't lie, the last 5 miles were not the most exciting, but overall it was much better than expected with plenty of forest tracks and a lot of charming little hamlets. Churches were getting increasingly ornate as we approached, but they are totally eclipsed by the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostella, which is truly magnificent!
