Milly!

I had arranged to meet up after work this afternoon with a chap, William, who does some accounts related work for us. I wouldn't say we're friends exactly, but we get on well, and these days he mostly deals directly with my colleague Steve, so getting out for a drink seemed a nice idea.

As I was meeting him at a bar very near Hannah's work, she and I met for a lime and soda beforehand, and then I had an enjoyable hour and a half with William, not least hearing about his youthful attempts to start up a company making valves in Manchester. It was a lot more exciting than it sounds :-)

Originally, I'd intended to head back home after seeing William but, happily, Milly is in town with her new job, so I met up with her and Charlie for a drink, too.

Today's Blip is a photo of Milly taken outside The Anthologist, where I'd met William. It had started to get a bit chilly by the time he and I said goodbye, so I was glad to pick up one of the bar's blankets and wrap up for the rest of the evening.
