Dean

It's been a long time since we've seen Dean, mainly due to a nasty slipped disk on his side. But sparing you the details - especially as they aren't mine to share - it will suffice to say that he is well enough to come and visit. Dan and Abi were delighted to see him, as was I, of course, and the four of went down for a curry. 

I was so good to enjoy his company again after so long: he has been a good friend of mine for well over ten years now, ever since we first met on Twitter (which is also where I met the Minx). Those were the days, when social media was fun and full of nice people!

We stayed up late, drinking and chatting. Dean had brought along this bottle of apple flavoured Jack Daniel's, which neither of us was convinced by. Dan seemed to like it, though.
