First Mist

I arrived at the golf course a bit earlier than usual this morning as, having woken up early and with Phil & Henri both on holiday, I thought I’d play a few holes by myself to see if I could sort out a few problems I’ve been having with pitching and putting. As you can see, I was greeted by the first mist of Autumn.

The practice seemed to help: playing pitches from nearer my back foot and changing my putting grip definitely brought about some improvement and, having played 13 holes I was hitting most shots quite well.

We picked up Sophie from school as usual. Her dance class has started again tonight but with a new teacher and at a later time. Waiting for her to come back as I type, I wonder what she’ll have made of the changes.
