Southwold Beach Huts

I drove to Suffolk after the Queen’s funeral yesterday afternoon for a few days holiday with my great friend T. Today we drove over to Southwold, walked along the coast then down the river to cross to Walberswick where we had a fab lunch outside some tearooms (a brie and bacon toastie for me). Then we walked back and explored Southwold including the pier. A wonderful day for walking (9 miles), just the right temperature, and so lovely to catch up. I’ve added another phone photo collage to extras, plus a photo this morning from outside one of our lodge windows over the lake.
