Another tower

This one may have pigeons as visitors but I doubt anyone sewed on the top floor as I believe there is a bar there (Cloud Bar). I've never been - wrong clothes. It's the Beetham or Hilton tower in Manchester. It's 168 metres and the tallest outside London. It was finished in 2006 and I watched it grow from it's start date in 2004. The base is very small compared to the height, hence it looks quite insecure in a strong wind. It is certainly a landmark from miles around and is at one end of Deansgate which is one of the main shopping/ commercial areas of Manchester.
