The birthday boy

I am so bad, while I wished him a happy birthday yesterday and made a fuss of him I forgot to take his photo on his birthday.  Hamish turned 13 yesterday.  He has terrible arthritis but otherwise, loves his food and getting pats at the dog park or from visitors and I think has a reasonably good life.  Pain is controlled by his medication but he is not going to win any races these days.

I took mum to her GP today who also very kindly saw me.  It was great to actually see a doctor face to face who was not worried about my cough mind you, I completely understand why practices need to be careful and keep Covid and flu risks to a minimum.
