l'Anse de Paulilles

Beautiful hike this morning with N, S and their adorable dog Petunia, visible in this photo near J's feet, all around the Paulilles cove in an area between Collioure and Banyuls-sur-mer. The colours and the light are stunning in this area. N and S packed a picnic lunch, including fresh figs from a tree in their garden. It was fantastic to spend the time with them in this stunning scenery. Petunia had a great time running all around. At some point she found a bone that she would run ahead and chew on in a shady spot, until we caught up with her. We rested after we got back,  then had pizzas for dinner on place Arago. Today is our older daughter's 26th birthday, so we are thinking of her and were happy to get to talk to her and to Ch this afternoon.
