Grey Heron
The young one and the older female were at the water edge waiting for me this morning. Standing on the viewing platform was what appeared to be a recently fledged one. I have thought that I could hear the chattering of heron chicks but dismissed it because it is way late for them. This one stood and only took off when I started feeding the other two. At the other end it was the male and the young male (I am going to go with the youngest one being a male). The crows and the gull were also around.
In the afternoon it was just the two males.
The extra is the recently fledged one.
