Flat Roof

The roofers finished the work on the flat roof at 7.45 pm. Meticulous to the last they even polished the glass before they were satisfied with their work. The ceiling has to be skimmed in the room below but they have achieved so much in the last three days.
I met with Jon and Carol for a walk at Hardcastle Crags whilst the work was on-going. Carol is recovering from lung cancer and it was the first time that we had met up since before Covid. It was great to see her again and to know that she is feeling well and slowly recovering her fitness and energy.
