On the edge
This is the view from the gravel quarry at the top of the hill, up which Bean and I walked this afternoon. You can see the road winding up from the village below.
My energy levels are fully restored so it’s been a full day of baking (LDC, crackers) and gardening.
I tackled some mowing and continued clearing twitch grass roots from the herb bed. I am completely clearing an area of about 4 square metres, which was so badly infested that there was no alternative way of getting rid of it. It’s half done now, and I’ve given the hens five barrows of roots and grass. They love it.
