The Funeral

Today I attended the funeral service for my Wife's sister's husband's father. It was held in Newhills Church, with a private cremation and tea afterwords at the Cloverleaf.
I didn't go to any of the latter places as I didn't know him, having only met him a couple of times. But I feel their loss, coming only a couple if years after the passing of my dad and my mother-in-law.
The one thing I did learn though was that he was responsible for starting up the Aberdeen branch of the Glasgow Ranger's supporter's club in the early sixties.
As if going to church today wasn't hard enough for me.
RIP C. H.
