Izzy

Izzy is back from Sierra Leone for a wedding, so she's taking the opportunity for a whirlwind tour to visit friends in the UK. Today, she's in Manchester, so we all congregated for a family lunch, the only absentees being Milly, whom Izzy will see next week, and the miniMinx (back at uni).

We started at The Ivy, which is where I took this photo of Izzy (on the left) and Hannah when we first arrived. We were then joined by Charlie, Izzy's friend Connor, and Dan and Abi. After some Bloody Marys and a vastly overpriced bottle of Prosecco, we walked over to lunch at Trof.

As ever, the service was below par and the food was excellent. But the most important and best thing was seeing Izzy, who was, as ever, an absolute delight.
