While walking back from the market an unfamiliar yet friendly person came up next to me. She shared her umbrella shade and made small talk for a few minutes until we had to part ways. The main subject of the conversation was how hot it has been recently.

The temperature has been hovering around 100*F/38*C with about 50% humidity, which actually feels pretty dry. But either way, it's hot.

The evidence of these high temperatures was all over the market, people selling or buying iced drinks or taking a rest or just moving very slowly. It seemed extra dark under the market's roof, but the relief of the shade was welcome by all.

Hope no one came to buy corn, green mangoes, green bananas, or melons today!
