Yesterday I bought Mum a book from one of the many charity shops in town - ‘Lisa’s England’ by Pat Barker. So I took it in this morning when visiting. As you can see she could not wait to get started reading it.
Mum has been a keen reader all her life and only more recently when she had a stroke did she stop reading. So I’m glad she can get some enjoyment from that hobby again .
