Sophie Tuesday
Sophie still loves playing with her doll’s house which was taller than she was when we bought it for her and the first thing I had to do when we brought her home from school was to bring it down from the bedroom to the lounge.
She was immediately engrossed in making up a narrative around the little figures who live there, though she did spare me the time for the cheeky smile in extras.
Later, she wanted to teach us the lyrics and moves to Meghan Trainor’s song, Me Too. The main blip captures her in the act. We both passed muster, Tess being better on the moves and me on the singing front, according to our mentor and judge.
She’s at that age where she switches from little girl to precocious pre-teenager in an instant.
Meanwhile, upstairs in the bathroom, a whole lot of plumbing was going on.
I managed a steady 2 under handicap in steady drizzle on the morning golf round
