A Tale of Two Moons
Yesterday our valley was filled with smoke from the Cedar Creek wild fire burning about 40 miles from us up in the Cascade Mountains.
The extra photo shows the deep red Moon color due to the smoky air.
Overnight our weather pattern changed so the wind came out of the west pushing the most of the smoke out of the valley.
The near normal "Harvest" Moon color certainly was a welcome early morning sight to see today.
We all breathed easier today.
