Holyrood Arrival

We followed the Balmoral to Edinburgh journey of the late Queen’s coffin with a certain Scottish pride. I think she would have been pleased/wanted to pass away north of the border to allow all Scots to send her on her way. There is a certain tone to this stage of the process that is uniquely Scottish, including the narrow, winding, cobbled streets between solid, stone-built Protestant tenements, all of which, as an exile, I am proud of and connected to. This is a shot of my laptop in Barcelona with an image from the BBC on screen.
