May Day

I continued my run of productive days off over the last few weeks, and spent today in the sun with my Mum. I accompanied her on a short trip to Clacton and we then took a picnic to the seafront at Holland-on-Sea. We had to sit slightly shivering with a blanket over our legs, but still! We held out for as long as possible before heading back to hers to do a bit of gardening and sat in the sun-trap for a while. It was lovely. We then went for a swim and I came home to an amazing aubergine curry cooked by G. It's been a fine day.
