Norwegian Fjord Horses...

...competing in a ploughing match at Broadgate Hall Farm, Hollington. Named Thor and Lofty, these two magnificent small and strong draught horses were the best behaved and ploughed the best furrow. Another pair in extras. I don't know if they won. I'd never seen the breed before. They are a delight, as was the day out. September's a good month for ploughing competitions. I might go to another one...or two.
