A sheen of green on the beeches in Mote Park

The lovely, if cool, weather continues so today we cycled through Mote Park on our way to town to do a few things including going to the library and a bit of shopping.

I posted a view of these trees on 6th April as I felt that their winter skeletal form was quite interesting. Now in spring we have the first showing of green shoots. I'll have to remember to take a shot in summer and winter. Bit like David Hockney did with his paintings of the same view in different seasons.
