Great Blue Lobelia
What a beautiful day we had. After a leisurely breakfast, we moved to the patio chairs where we read, chatted or napped. Our cell service is minimal at best so there wasn’t much on line surfing which wasn’t a bad thing actually. Hopefully, we will have enough to publish my blip. Sugar Baby stayed close at hand. Our BIL made lunch and then we headed to the almost dry creek to search for sea glass. We found pink, blue, green, white and brown glass and broken pieces of old pottery. We saw tadpoles almost ready to lose their tail and tiny crawfish. They were both adorable. The guys took a ride on their ATVs while we walked along the water’s edge. We saw this Great Blue Lobelia wildflower at the edge of the forest during our outing. We probably will explore more later in the week. We’re back on the patio for the evening enjoying a small breeze. Leftovers for dinner. Sure hope your day and weekend will be just as much fun. Thanks for stopping by. Stay safe. “It is one thing to hear about the forest and the river, but an entirely other experience to go there, to see the environment, and to appreciate the natural riches there first-hand.” – Chris Kilham
