Clifford's Tower

We've spent much of today driving to York where we are spending  the weekend. It was supposed to be a rather grand affair  for our livery company but, in light of the  Queen's death yesterday, it has had to be toned down. However, this afternoon, as planned, we did go to  Betty's for a delicious  tea in the Belmont Room, during which we watched  King Charles giving his first speech as monarch.  
Afterwards we wandered around the city which was surprisingly busy.
