Cronkhill

Cronkhill is a tenanted National Trust property within the Attingham Estate in Shrewsbury. It opens for 6 days only and is ticketed. The building was designed and built by the architect John Nash. It is also one that I've been waiting to cross off my handbook as visited. There are only 3 rooms open plus the hallway and stairwell and the gardens to look around. Despite this there were room stewards in all the rooms and hallway and 2 carparking attendants. All very knowledgeable, friendly and passionate about Cronkhill.
Short visit but very lovely. Homeward bound and we stopped for lunch at Battlefield1403. They had a table of plants for sake and dear reader, I bought loads!
