Day trip to Edinburgh.

Took the train from Stirling to Edinburgh for a wander round the city, which was super as always. Lots of tourists in the main areas but I headed down towards the University.

I was tempted by the touristy photo opportunities but resisted. (Actually I tell a lie I did take one that was a grabbed photo of tourists snapping) I went for one traditional Edinburgh view and one of the University Library 'cause who doesn't like a bit of Brutalist architecture?

One of the reasons for going was to go and visit the wonderful Lighthouse Bookshop, spent far too much... But, won't be back this way for a long time. I also popped into the University gift shop to buy a little pressie for my pal who did her Masters at Edinburgh and misses the city like crazy.
