Sitges Harbor
We haven’t had time to swim in the Mediterranean Sea yet, but fully intend to when there is less going on.
Today was a full-on day, starting with about a two mile walk into Sitges town center after we missed the bus, no knowing where the stop was. Then we met up with other members of the family who are also here for Ruth and Kieran’s wedding on Saturday. We had coffee at one place in the town and then lunch at another with plenty of conversation and catching up, as families do when they live on different continents and haven’t seen each other for a long time!
Then we walked back to our campervan to get ready for the evening.
David had an extra trip back into Sitges, this time on his bike, because he left his new water bottle at the restaurant we had lunch at.
The evening event consisted of drinks and superb local tapas enjoyed in this delightful setting overlooking the beach. Looking to the right was the beautiful sunset and to the left was an almost full moon.
We got a taxi back to the campsite and hoping for a better night’s sleep tonight.
