Got to sleep after midnight so it was very hard getting up this morning. I filled four coolers, washed a load of laundry, cleaned the kitchen and helped hubby load the SUV. He helped with laundry, took care of the kitties, emptied the trash, recycling, etc. After showers, we pulled out at 10:15. It rained off and on during the long ride. We stopped for lunch at this nice diner. The menu is extensive, food is great and staff couldn’t be friendlier. Prices are reasonable as well. But the decor is my fav part of the experience. Fifties and sixties rock and roll music is still the best. We are almost at our grocery stop and then we’ll be on the slowest part of our journey - those bumpy, windy WV backroads.
