Birthday drinks

I wandered across the Irwell into Manchester after work, this evening, for a couple of drinks with Simon at The Briton's Protection, after which I had planned to walk home, but during a Telegram chat with Yoss, it became apparent that it is his birthday, today, so instead I met up with the Minx and went down to the Old Pint Pot, and met up with him and three of his friends.

I took today's Blip on the way. I'd intended to go up to the railing to take a photo, but, as you can just about see, there were a couple of guys there chatting, and I didn't want to intrude.

And we had a good time at the pub. It reflects well on Yoss, I think, that on the odd occasion when I meet his friends, they're always really nice people.
