Setting the Scene

Trying to get back into work mode. We both did some work in the morning, then late morning took a break to go to the post office to pick a letter up, but a few food things and for Bb to get a new library card as he'd mislaid his - good service, 1 euro and a new card issued in our local library in 5 mins. I took the chance to borrow a few CDs. One reason we wanted his new library card was that we wanted to go to the Turner exhibition in the MNAC here and library cards give a significant discount on  many things, including this exhibition. Well worth the effort at the end of our working day to head up to Montjuïc, above Plaza España, to see the exhibition. I particularly liked his pieces of Venice and Grenoble. It was the first time I'd been in MNAC and the main room is one of the biggest public rooms in Euripe at 2,200 Square metres. We peeked into the restaurant too, with fantastic views of the city. See Bb's blip, and and we vowed to come back for lunch one day and combine it with a visit to the modern art section. The restaurant gets very good reviews and not just for the view and offers a reasonable but special-day menu del dia.
