Tabby cat on a roof.
No saint is named in the Oxford Dictionary of Saints today.
Charente kindly informed me it is the Feast Day of St Bernard in France.
We had rain over night and after a humid evening it was welcome relief.
It is suddenly much cooler, 17c and I wore my light raincoat to go out for the newspaper this morning. People locally seem happy with our new Prime Minister. She has an unenviable task ahead so God bless her with wisdom and resilience.
Many people are going to be suffering this Autumn as we begin to understand the choice between heating or eating.
Thank God for Food Banks when they are needed. We have two Church food banks and one at the Co op. I noticed when in Tesco kind people have put dog food in the Food Bank as well as tins etc for people in need. The media don't mention it but animals are going to suffer too as the economic crisis deepens, because it is expensive what with Vet Bills and not all holidays are open to pets.
This photo shows a dear little tabby cat watching me from a high point on a roof. I saw him climb out of a bedroom window the other day. A very confident and fearless feline.
Paul has been sorting out the payment and insurance for the new car. It is a Renault Kadjar. We will collect it on Saturday morning. Quite excited.
As the rain continues bucketing down, the snails are coming out. I don't harm them but move them away from my planters and window boxes..
Have a good day blip friends, take care and thanks for your visit to my site today.
