2022 Sunday — Day 4 Backyard Project

Mercado and his men arrived mid-morning and the workers stayed until 2:15 this afternoon -- I think they worked 5 hours today, Sunday.

After they were gone we could see that they accomplished much more on the retaining walls and they dug lots of rock from our land to use as filler under the ramp. Mercado has many creative ideas about our backyard hill.

Then Mercado stayed so we could just have fun conversing with him, and fun is exactly what we had. We discussed Mexican food. He described some delicious recipes we had never heard of. He told us his wife is a wonderful cook. He told us the "real" Mexican restaurants to eat at in this area. We enjoy spending time with him.
