Variations on a Theme

After an exhausting weekend I have had a fun day trip today. OK a four hour drive first but visiting a very old and dear friend for the afternoon was a chance to relax. Three hours passed much too quickly!

The main reason for travelling was a talk to Bedfordshire AGS group this evening. A nice meal first with Rob who runs the group and still in his twenties must be the youngest club secretary in the country. Sadly since Covid numbers at groups like this have fallen. Ten years ago I talked to thirty plus members but tonight just a dozen. Still a warm reception and they enjoyed the chance to share Hilary’s View!

A great variety of Cyclamen hederifolium forms on display on the show table.

Now settling down at Ruth’s for the night. Another talk in Shrewsbury tomorrow night on my way home.
