Ominous.

This was when I was about to go shopping.
When I got home it was slightly different (in the extras)... but it had been raining between the two shots.

Later, sitting having a coffee and there was an avalanche of rose petals from the one I cut the other day (still not found the secateurs - but 2 new ones arrived yesterday at a greatly reduced price). It was quite a sudden and dramatic drop. So I scooped them up and took some close-ups before they head for the compost.

There was a spot of turning done .... all fingers survived unscathed.

SWMBO had an eye test this afternoon.
We left a bit early so that we could call in at the supermarket and get some money back -- when I weighed the bananas this morning the label apparently came out claiming it had weighed 'loose new potatoes'. I didn't notice then, or when the self checkout told me that my card had been declined and started flashing a red light for an assistant. By the time I had attracted her attention the red light had gone off and the machine reset itself. The assistant printed the last receipt, which turned out to be mine and the card had been accepted.
While SWMBO went to the Customer Services desk I went to the weighing point to see if I could have hit the wrong button....highly unlikely as the 'loose new potatoes' are not on the same 'page'. 
It didn't stop the woman from blaming me.
She is a torn faced so & so that one - but she did give us the price difference back.

After dropping SWMBO off I headed back to the house to wait for Squirrel to arrive from school with her weapons. It was then drop her off and join SWMBO to choose my new glasses. It is now a 3 week wait for them to be ready.

I am now going to download the pictures of the rather spectacular red sky. I doubt I have done it justice.
