The Twelve Bens
Went for a walk and a swim today at Fanore, a beautiful beach in west Clare. It was a very clear day, after some heavy rain last night, and today's blip is the twelve bens in Connemara which were very prominent to the north, across Galway bay. The extra is morning dew on a buttercup, a bulbous buttercup I think (my flower book says they like lime, which certainly resonates with the Burren).
