More Volunteers

These are a wildflower called Tall Coreopsis which I did not plant in the dooryard garden but here they are, more volunteers.  They are in the totally wrong place so when John cuts things down this fall we will transplant them to a better place next to the fence.  I love it when birds, squirrels or chipmunks do a bit of gardening for me.  These lovelies are over 4 feet high!  Heavy rain coming in today and tonight, possible an inch and a half falling with flood warnings posted in places.  Luckily, we are on high ground here and no fear of that.  We need the rain but not all at once!   This storm may take out my internet connection so comments may be sporadic.
