Diary of an Edinburgher

By LadyMarchmont

A rattling tree…

A bit of rain this morning, so JR took the car to the gym, and Chrissy came back with her for a coffee. The weather app said there was a 95% chance of rain all day, and indeed there were dark clouds most of the day. But it did not rain after that. In fact, by the afternoon it was blue skies and sunshine. And it was SO warm. I got very hot’n’bothered when I was out!

JR was in one of her busy-about-the-house modes, so Archie and I cleared off… we did our now usual stroll across the Meadows, heading for the coffee caravan, with lots of sit downs. A stop at the shop on the way home to get some milk - oh look - the boxes of Almond Magnums are on special!

I finished my audiobook too. I’ve now started Billy Connolly’s autobiography -  ‘Windswept and Interesting’.

JR took Archie out in the afternoon - this system works well - we both can listen to podcasts or audiobooks, and Archie gets two walks. Win, win, win!

Spotted this rather sweet wee plaque on a tree, I’m sure it’s quite new. A lovely project. (Extra)
